12 Amazon Classroom Finds You’ll Actually Use!
1. Classroom Doorbell
First up, the *classic* wireless doorbell. This little tool makes it way around the teacher socials every few months, and for good reason. I know I was influenced by Marcy over at SaddleUpto2ndGrade.com. She and all the others were right! It’s a great “attention getter” in ANY CLASSROOM!

With 52 different ringtones, you can change up the sounds to celebrate the season or keep the kids on their toes. I use this little gem to tell students it’s time to clean up from our reading and math centers. Works like a dream! I *ONLY* use it for centers so it keeps it fresh. Like all good things… too much can be a bad thing!
Grab it here on Amazon!
2. Paper organizer
Is there anything more satisfying than organized construction paper? For this Applicious Teacher… not much!

This simple paper organizer fits in cabinets and houses large construction paper, AND you can get it in two days! Grab it here on Amazon!
3. Teaching Paperwork Organizer
Struggle with setting quizzes down *somewhere* in the classroom, only to forget where you put them three seconds later… me too!

That’s why this little paperwork organizer is perfect for keeping you on top of all those activities!
I like the 10-slot version of this organizer, but there are bigger sizes available, too! Just remember to label each slot and place papers in there as you get them!
So much easier than wandering around the classroom trying to find today’s math tests. Grab it here on Amazon!
4. Mailbox system
Passing back papers, homework, or anything else to your students is a breeze with this simple banker’s box mailbox system!

Label it with student numbers instead of names to use year after year! Grab it here on Amazon!
5. Supply organizer
This is one of my more recent purchases, and I am in love!

This supply organizer rounder sits at my teacher table and has helped me stay so much more organized without taking up a ton of space.
I keep all the supplies I might need when students learn at my table in each section.
Dry erase markers? Check!
Pencils, crayons, glue sticks? Check, check, check!
The cups on this organizer come out, so I can easily pull out the cup to pass down the table.
AND each cup comes with a lid. So, if you want to house smaller items (like candy or counters), you can cover them with the lid. I keep paper clips in one of my cups. The kids LOVE feeding the happy mouths the paper clips. (It’s the little things!) This is seriously one of my favorite Amazon classroom supplies!
Grab it here on Amazon!
6. Magnetic shelf
This one has been floating around for a while, thanks to Ashley over at TeachCreateMotivate.
I’m not gonna lie; I didn’t really get this one initially. It wasn’t until last year that I purchased a set, and now I’m so glad I did!
I use these magnetic shelves EVERY SINGLE DAY!
One I use to house the special books we are reading during our unit.

The other holds my pick sticks and my dry-erase markers.
7. Pocket Chart-
Oh, the classic pocket chart. Can any classroom be complete without at least one of these? I think not!
I use one to hold my spelling word cards for the week.

Then, another one holds our Special Area schedule for the week (we split between two teachers so it gets a bit confusing otherwise!)
I also keep one clipped to my little whiteboard for sorting lessons. Needless to say, these are a powerhouse in any classroom!
I got the black to match my classroom decor, but you can get any color!
8. Teaching Bins
Want to know my secret for staying organized year after year? Grade level after grade level? It’s these little things right here!

Teaching bins!
You can read more about how to set these things up. But these containers are the perfect size for sliding into cabinets, under tables, or hidden in a closet! Grab the bins on Amazon and get organized!
9. Pencil sharpener
Every classroom needs an electric pencil sharpener. And this one is a workhorse!

My tip for helping pencil sharpeners last years longer?
Don’t let the kids use it… yup, you heard that right… the only people allowed to use my pencil sharpener are me and my designated teacher helper.
I promise this cuts down on so many issues with the pencil sharpener!!!
10. Book Bins
Keeping your classroom library organized can be a challenge. I’ve found book bins to help immensely!

In my library- I have two sizes. The larger size is perfect for holding larger picture books. (and they are a wash tub, really, not even a book box)
The smaller size is perfect for all those chapter books!

11. Teacher Toolbox
I’m not sure why it took me so long to add this next item to our best Amazon classroom supplies list!
The teacher toolbox! Such a lifesaver!

This tool organizer turned teacher toolbox is an MVP in my room. I made my cute with premade labels I purchased on TpT, but even just simple white labels will work.
Perfect for storing all those “teacher supplies” that you want at your fingertips, this organizer is one I use every day.
My massive teacher desk doesn’t have drawers, so everything you’d keep in drawers fits perfectly in here!
Grab the toolbox on Amazon.
12. Weekly Drawers Cart
I’ve been singing the praises of a weekly drawer cart since 2008. Maybe even earlier???

And for good reason! This simple system keeps me organized week after week!
I like this Iris one I found on Amazon, but any cart with at least five drawers will work. Don’t forget to label the drawers so you know which day they are on.
